Riviera Cricket Academy needed an efficient way to manage bookings for its indoor cricket net facility without relying on manual enquiries, payments or staff being present for every session.
The system needed to provide customers with clear availability, straightforward online booking and secure payment, while giving the academy control over session schedules and reservations.
An additional requirement was to integrate with the facility's electronic access system, allowing customers to enter using a booking-specific access code.
The challenge was to bring these requirements together into one reliable, easy-to-manage booking solution.
EDSA Designs developed and configured a tailored booking solution using Bookings Control, our own flexible online booking platform.
The system provides:
Live session availability – customers can view and reserve available indoor cricket net sessions.
Secure Stripe payments – bookings and payments are handled online.
Automated booking confirmations – customers receive the relevant details for their reservations.
Smart-lock integration – integration with an igloohome electronic lock and keypad enables booking-specific access codes.
Dedicated administration – the academy can manage sessions, availability and customer bookings through its own administration interface.
Flexible development – the platform can be extended with additional functionality as the academy's requirements evolve.
Because Bookings Control is developed in-house, EDSA can adapt its features and integrations to suit individual businesses rather than relying on the limitations of an off-the-shelf booking package.
